Obituary for Virginia Anne (Ginny) Hartless Virginia Anne (Ginny) Hartless
She Was A Lauderdale ARP Church Member

Virginia Anne (Ginny) Hartless, of Lexington, VA, died on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at Golden Living Center in Buena Vista.

She was born on August 13, 1928, a daughter of the late William E. Hartless and Dorothy Vanness Hartless.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, James "Sambo" Hartless.

She was a member of the Lauderdale ARP Church. Miss Hartless worked in the mess hall at Virginia Military Institute and at Hedgepaths.

Surviving are one son, Larry W. Hartless; three sisters, Dorothy H. Hartless, Loretta Clark, and Willie Belle Baldwin; two special nieces, Carolyn Tolley and Caren Roundy; nephew, James Telling, all of Lexington; and one granddaughter, Lisa Brown and husband, Robbie ,and their children, Jasmine, Jaylan and Seirra, of Waynesboro.

A Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, October 8, 2010, at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Benjamin W. Dowling III officiating. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2010, at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Va., 540-463-2912.
