Obituary for Virginia (Ginny) Wheeler Higgins Noto Virginia (Ginny) Wheeler Higgins Noto
Vinton Resident Was RCHS, Roanoke College Graduate

Virginia (Ginny) Wheeler Higgins Noto, 30, of Vinton, Va., passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010.

She was the daughter of Tom Higgins and Patty Higgins, of Lexington.

In addition to her parents, Ginny is survived by her husband, Brian Noto, son, Jacob Scott Noto, stepdaughter, Kayla Noto, stepson, Vincent Noto, and honorary son, Chance Noto.

She is also survived by her sister, Erin Higgins, and her husband, Dave Cuccia of Annapolis, Md., and cousins, but more like sisters, Carter Higgins, Sallie Higgins, Mary Elizabeth Dyal Nelson, Mollie Dyal, Jenea Honse, and Jamie Bosley, and her adopted grandmother, Mary Lauderdale Sorrells.

Ginny was a graduate of Rockbridge County High School and Roanoke College and attended the Lauderdale AR Presbyterian Church, whenever she was in Lexington.

She was a loving and devoted mother to all her children - both human and animal.

She was a joy to all who knew her and was a friend to everyone. She loved sunny side up eggs and uniquely ate them, and would go into "crisis" mode if her breakfast strudel ran out at home. She is sorely missed.

Services have not been finalized, but arrangements will be handled by the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington, Virginia.
