Lewis Franklin Madison, Sr., 71, of Buena Vista, died, Thursday, December 9, 2010 at his home.

Born September 16, 1939, in Rockbridge. He was the son of the late Rutherford Madison and Ruth Lawhorne Madison.

Surviving are his wife Faye Graves Madison of Buena Vista; two daughters, Lois Coleman and husband P.J. of Buena Vista; Mandy Plogger and husband Daniel of Natural Bridge; one son, Frankie Madison and wife Heather of Buena Vista; seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, December 13, 2010 at Bolling, Grose, and Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. W.A. Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, VA.
