Carl Francis Miller, Jr., 60, of Lexington, Virginia, died Monday, January 3, 2011 at his home.

Born August 3, 1950 in Rockbridge County, he was the son of Carl F. Miller, Sr. and the late Doris Banks Miller.

In addition to his father, he is survived by a son, Carl F. Miller, III; two grandchildren; and one sister, Mitzi Miller of Lexington.

A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Stonewall Jackson Cemetery with the Rev. Dean Staton officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Carl to the Rockbridge Baths Fire Department or the Fairfield Rescue Squad.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
