Nancy Patterson Solomon Clemmer, age 50, of 1508 Eastgate Avenue, Roanoke, Virginia, died Monday, March 7, 2011 at her residence.

She was born February 11, 1961 in Clifton Forge, Virginia, to the late Elva and Joyce Loretta Via Patterson.

She was a homemaker and loved sewing, riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, and especially animals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a husband, Danny Solomon in 2008; a brother, Richard Blaine Patterson; and a sister, Evelyn Ward.

She is survived by her husband Granville "George" Clemmer of Roanoke; a son, Travis Patterson of Roanoke; five sisters, Beulah "Nita" Loving of Burnsville, Shirley Ketron and husband, Don of Eagle Rock, Lettie Lynn Patterson of Eagle Rock, Victoria Sorrels and husband, C.R. of Clifton Forge, and Elizabeth Jefferies of Broadway; a brother, Roy Thurman Patterson of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Jullen Helmick and Nevaeh Stevens; a number of nieces and nephews; and her two dogs, Candy and RunRun.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated.

A memorial service will be conducted on Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Mike Rollins officiating. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon one hour prior to the service at Nicely Funeral Home and other times at the home of Lettie Patterson, 15 Second Street, Eagle Rock, VA.
