Lauderdale ARP Church Member Dies At Age 77

James Wilbert Falls, 77, of Lexington, died Thursday, March 24, 2011, at Heritage Hall in Lexington.

He was born on May 20, 1933 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Herman William Falls and Beulah Hall Falls.

Wilbert was a member of the Lauderdale ARP Church, loved all types of sports, but was an avid bowler and softball pitcher and was always in attendance at the local football games.

Surviving are his son, Jason S. Falls and wife, Melanie, of Lexington; and one grandchild, Madison.

A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2011, at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Benjamin W. Dowling, III, officiating. The family will receive friends 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2011, at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
