Linda Mull Hartless, 57, of Vesuvius, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2011.

She was born on April 8, 1954 in Rockbridge County, the daughter of the late Frank Mull and Madeline Coffey Johnson.

Mrs. Hartless is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 40 years, Guy D. Hartless, Jr.; three children, David, Mandi, and Justin; step-father, Jerry Johnson; son-in-law, Will McComas; daughter-in-law, Dinah Hartless; and grandchildren, Zack Reese, Cody Harris, David Hartless, Toni Hartless, and Michael Hartless; and many other family and special friends who loved her dearly.

Linda was known by many for her love of animals.

She was also a Life Member of the Fairfield Volunteer Rescue Squad. During her years of faithful service, she held numerous offices and was an advocate for the community and EMS care throughout the region.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fairfield Rescue Squad. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Fairfield Vol. Rescue Squad.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
