Lexington Native Dies At Age 23

Keaton Scott Coburn, 23, of Lexington, Virginia, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 14, 2011.

Born, July 11, 1987 in Lexington, he was a son of Darrin Scott Coburn and Angela Gould Coburn.

Keaton was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are one brother, Gary W. Coburn of Natural Bridge Station; four sisters, Jessica C. Nelson of Rota, Spain; Brianna N. Coburn; Mariah A. Coburn; Natalie E. Ayres, all of Lexington; grandparents, Ann McDonald of Raphine; Alan Gould, Sr. of Surfside Beach, SC; aunts and uncles, Victor and Jackie Coburn, Tommy Coburn, and Pam Donald, all of Lexington; Bob Coburn of Hampton, VA; Alan & Stacy Gould Eddie & Terri Gebhard, all of Rockbridge County; cousins, T.J. Coburn; Andrew Coburn; Monica Donald, all of Lexington; Bobby Coburn of Hampton, VA; Hannah Gould William Gebhard, both of Rockbridge County; and many special friends and family.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Grace Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Paul Carter and the Rev. Tony Nix officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bible Study Fellowship (www.bsfinternational.org) or the Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia, P.O. Box 800659, UVA Medical Center, Charlottesville, VA 22908. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
