Alleghany County Native Dies At Age 61
Donnie Ray Caldwell, 61, of Covington, Virginia, died September 7, 2011 in LewisGale- Alleghany Regional Hospital.
He was born May 25, 1950 in Alleghany County, a son of the late Cecil and Delores Wolfe Caldwell.
Surviving are his wife, Fleeda Via Caldwell of Covington; a son, Kenneth Caldwell of Covington; a daughter, Melissa Caldwell of Covington; one sister, Gwenpolyn Teaford of Eagle Rock; four brothers, Richard Caldwell and wife, Darlene, Danny Caldwell and wife, Pansy, Junior Caldwell and wife, Reba all of Low Moor, and Larry Hosey and wife, Martha of Covington.
The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Lonestar Cemetery with the Elder James Arritt officiating.
The Arritt Funeral Home, Covington, Virginia, is handling the arrangements.
