James Clifton Dreyer, 63, of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia, died Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

Born July 22, 1948 in Washington, DC, he was a son of Charles William Dreyer and Marquerite Morrison Dreyer of Wirtz, VA.

Surviving in addition to his parents is his wife, Wanda M. Dreyer of Natural Bridge Station; two daughters, Sherry Dreyer Helmick of Lexington, and Lorie Van Ness of Norton; one son, Eric Clifton Dreyer of Natural Bridge Station; one sister, Lorelei VanDerVeer of Natural Bridge; one brother, Chris Dreyer of Roanoke; four granddaughters and one grandson.

A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, November 7, 2011 at Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Bostic officiating. Burial will follow at Glasgow Cemetery. The family will receive friends 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
