Obituary for Harry Custis Clark Harry Custis Clark
Rockbridge Native Was Longtime Institution Foods Salesman

Harry Custis Clark, 84, of Lexington, Virginia, died Saturday, December 24, 2011 at his home.

Born April 23, 1927 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late James Wilson Clark and Minnie Siron Clark.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Don Wilson Clark, and a granddaughter, Elizabeth "Libby" Painter.

Mr. Clark was a member of the Collierstown Presbyterian Church, and worked as a salesman for Institution Foods, where he retired after forty-six years of service.

Surviving are his wife of sixty-four and a half years, Jessie Morris Clark of Lexington; two sons, David Custis Clark and wife, Nancy, and Larry Wayne Clark and Vicki Nicely; three daughters, Linda Ruth Clark Painter and husband, Junior, Patricia Ann Clark, all of Lexington, Dana Clark Rhodenizer and husband, Brad of Mount Sidney; two sisters, Erma Irvine, Virginia "Jean" Black, both of Lexington; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great- grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Skip Hastings and the Rev. Brad Langdon officiating. Burial will follow at Collierstown Presbyterian Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
