Chalmer Roscoe Wilhelm, 79, of Lexington, Virginia, died Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at his home.

Born June 5, 1933 in Rockbridge, he was a son of the late Floyd B. Wilhelm and Della Hostetter Wilhelm.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda Wilhelm Ruff.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret Austin Wilhelm; children, Darlene Wilhelm Clark, Della Jane Ballard, Kevin Eugene Wilhelm, and Sharon Wilhelm Patterson; a sister, Elizabeth Clark; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Larry Clark officiating. Burial followed at Green Hill Mausoleum.

Arrangements were handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Buena Vista, VA.
