Patricia Hope Kennedy Tomlin, 67, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died March 15, 2012 at her home.

Born May 9, 1944 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Edward L. Kennedy and Gladys Elizabeth Tyler Kennedy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Leo Kennedy, and a sister Carolyne Beck.

Surviving are her husband, Ward Tomlin; three sons, Michael Tomlin, Kim Tomlin, and Sean Tomlin; two brothers, Donald Kennedy and John Cash, Jr.; one sister, Sue Lesko; and nine grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Chely Tomlin.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2012 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. W. David Bain officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Buena Vista, VA.
