Audrey Arminta (Jones) Southers, 88 years old, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away, March 26, 2012.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Chase Southers; her daughter, Ruth Ann Barger and her parents, Robert Lee Jones, and Myrtle Ruth (Slagle) Jones.

She was born in Buena Vista, March 12,1924.

Audrey attended Parry McCluer School as a child.

Audrey enjoyed flower gardening and had a great love for music.

She is survived by her children, Wanda Finical, Brenda Diller, and Robin Southers, 8 grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Wheeler, Patsy Thomas, Peggy Wright, Romalda Smith, Rebecca Anurca, and Carolyn Herring.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister with a love for the Lord.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Bolling, Grose, and Lotts Funeral Home in Buena Vista, Virginia. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 27, 2012 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
