Daniel Lewis (Pete) McDonald, 64, of Natural Bridge, Virginia, died Friday, May 25, 2012 at Heritage Hall in Lexington.

Born April 29, 1948 in Lexington, VA , he was a son of the late James Lewis McDonald and Ardelia Burke McDonald.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, J. William "Billy" McDonald.

Pete was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one brother, Jerry Lee McDonald and wife, Margaret of Rockbridge Baths; one uncle, Robert McDonald of Kilmarnock; three nephews; three nieces.

A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ray Tucker officiating.

Burial will follow at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after the service at Rockbridge Baths Fire Department. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 73, McCurdy Lane, Rockbridge Baths, VA 24473.
