Orie Milton Roberts, 77, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

He was born January 10, 1935, in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Sam H. Roberts and Rhoda Stelle Roberts.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Leslie, Harold, Malcolm, and Earl Roberts.

Surviving are his son, Timothy S. Roberts; siblings, Roger W. Roberts and wife, Regina, Michael S. Roberts and wife, Connie, Larry K. Roberts; two grandchildren, Courtney Derr and Michael Derr.

A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2012, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Larry Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2012, at Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Buena Vista.
