Clifford O_Dell Clark, Jr. 51, of 1917 S. Clark Ave., Covington, Virginia, died Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Lewis Gale Hospital in Salem.

He was born October 2, 1960 , a son of Gloria Jean Underwood Clark of Laurel Fork, and the late Clifford O'Dell Clark, Sr.

Mr. Clark was employed in the construction industry with several local companies.

In addition to his mother, Clifford is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Blair and Danny Lindsay of Covington; three grandchildren, Bradley Lindsay, Emily Lindsay and Hailey Lindsay, all of Covington; seven sisters, Barbara Rakes and Carolyn Goard, both of Patrick Springs; Jeanette Frazier of Austinville; Martha Nyquist of Meadows of Dan; Diane Bradley of Dublin; Ruth Shelton of Pulaski and Debbie Jackson of Wilmington, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the Arritt Funeral Home, Covington, Virginia.

The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Edith Snedegar officiating.

The interment will be made in the County Line Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Floyd, VA.
