Louise Powell Marshall, 81, of Natural Bridge, Virginia, died Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

Born July 5, 1931 in Bent Mountain, a daughter of the late Merritt Powell and Dexter Stewart Powell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Otis Marshall.

Surviving are her children, Victoria Marshall and companion, Dennis Williams, James Stewart Marshall and wife, Kelly, Andrea Watts and husband, Bruce; brothers, Ronald Powell, Douglas Powell, Colby Powell; and sister, Lynn C. Hill; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday October 10, 2012, at Oxford Presbyterian Cemetery with Dr. Horace Douty officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
