Loraine C. Coleman, of Buena Vista, Virginia, went to be with the Lord Friday, October 26, 2012, at UVA.

Loraine was the daughter of the late William Noel and Bertha Stinnett Noel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell D. Coleman.

She is survived by four daughters, Brenda Hostetter and husband, Carl, of Lexington, Sheila C. Layton and husband, Alex, of Raphine, Patricia R. Vest and husband, Ernest, of Lexington, Linda Lilley and husband, Frank, of Lexington; a stepson, Larry W. Coleman and stepdaughter, Brenda Corbin, of Buena Vista; two sons James E. Reid and wife, Shirley, of Buena Vista, Ronnie Reid and wife, Shirley, of Buena Vista; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; a special son-in-law, Garvis Agnor and wife, Carol, of Gladstone; one brother, Robert Noel; a sister, Lora Wood; a special grandson, James A. Reid, and special great-grandson, Brandon James Reid.

A graveside service will be held at Stonewall Jackson Cemetery in Lexington at 11 a.m. Monday, October 29, 2012, with the Rev. Dean Staton officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home, but friends are welcome at her home, 1119 South River Road, Buena Vista, Va.
