Augusta County Native Loses Battle With Huntington's Disease

Christopher Lee Losh, 45, of 103 Gilpin Avenue, Covington, Virginia, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012, in the Braintree Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Braintree, MA, after a long and courageous battle with Huntington's Disease.

He was born September 4, 1967, in Augusta County, a son of Roger Lee and Dorothy Wright Losh of Covington.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Vanessa Allison, in 2010.

Surviving in addition to his parents, are his brother, Benjamin Lancaster, of Covington; his niece, Rachel Brown of Covington; his nephew, Joshua Brown of Staunton; his uncle, Michael and Melissa Sprauge and their daughter, Tessa, all of Waynesboro; three aunts, Geraldine Marshall, Betty Ralston and Patricia Coiner, all of Staunton; two great aunts, Sarah Fitzgerald and Agnes Thomas, both of Grottoes; four great uncles, Walter Wright, Abe Wright; Joseph and Carolyn Wright and Denton Wright, all of Covington; cousins, Darrell Thomas of Wisconsin and Edward Thomas of Grottoes.

The funeral service will be held 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the graveside in Lone Star Cemetery with the Rev. Freeman Coffey officiating.

The family will receive their friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Arritt Funeral Home before leaving for the cemetery on Wednesday.
