Jane Rebecca Mills Reese, age 85, of 501 Fairview Avenue, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at her residence.

She was born September 7, 1927 in Clearspring, Maryland, to the late Bernard and Lela Jane Suffecool Mills.

She was the widow of Pastor James R. Reese, Jr.

She was a homemaker and also a member of the Ministry.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Rock, and three brothers, Glen Mills, Bernard Mills and Guy Mills.

She is survived three daughters, Lela Putnam and husband, Laddie of Arizona, Teresa Devorak and husband, Dave of Plano, TX and Carol Hardbarger of Pennsylvania; three sons, James R. Reese III, Raymond James Reese of Texas, and Pastor Scott Reese and wife, Kim of Goshen; a special son, Tyler Clem and wife, Wendy of Goshen; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Millboro Christian Church Cemetery, Millboro, with Reverend Tyler Clem officiating. Interment will follow.

There will be no formal visitation. However, friends may call any time at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge. Nicely Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
