Kenneth Dale Montgomery, 60, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died Monday, December 31, 2012 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born October 7, 1952 in Glasgow, a son of the late John William Montgomery, Jr. and Betty Belle Cash Montgomery.

Mr. Montgomery was a member of Redeeming Life Ministries in Buena Vista.

Surviving are his wife, Brenda St. Clair Montgomery; children, Kenny Clark of Staunton, VA; Hope Montgomery of Omaha, Nebraska; Jason Montgomery of Lexington; and their mother, his first wife, Marilyn Farris, a son, Jonathon Montgomery of Buena Vista; and his mother, Joyce Ramsey, step-children, Felicia Hawley Montgomery of Glasgow; Jeannie Hawley Robinson of Buena Vista; Gerald Hawley and wife, Brandy of Lexington; brothers, Robert Montgomery and wife, Pat; Steve Montgomery and wife, Louise; Bo Montgomery and wife, Lorrie; special friend, Frank Rowsey; thirteen grandchildren; two great grandsons.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev Walter Blankenship, Rev Rudy Hilderbrand, and Rev W. A. Mills officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church.
