Obituary for Helen Potter Rhodenizer Helen Potter Rhodenizer
Rockbridge County Native Was Oxford Presbyterian Church Member

Helen Potter Rhodenizer, 85, of Lexington, Virginia, died Saturday, January 5, 2013 in Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

Born May 16, 1927 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Grover and Viola Sweet Potter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Francis Rhodenizer.

Mrs. Rhodenizer was a member of Oxford Presbyterian Church and was retired as Cafeteria Manager from Rockbridge County School System.

Surviving are her children, David Samuel Rhodenizer, Salem, Henry Luther Rhodenizer, Lexington; Sandra Thompson, Woodbridge, and Sara Meradith, Bennington, Nebraska; one sister, Ann Rhodenizer, Lexington; and a brother, Henry Potter, Brownsburg; seven grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2013 at Oxford Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Douglas Mitchell and Dr. Horace Douty officiating.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
