Obituary for Laura Loretta Wilhelm Laura Loretta Wilhelm
Lexington Resident Was LDS Church Member

Laura Loretta Wilhelm, 50, of Lexington, Virginia, died on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at her home.

She was born on April 20, 1962, in Lexington, a daughter of Shirley Bryant Wilhelm and the late Homer Sheridan Wilhelm Sr.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Mutispaugh.

Mrs. Wilhelm was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Surviving are her mother, Shirley Wilhelm; three brothers, Chuck Wilhelm and wife, Sandra, of Lexington, Elwood Wilhelm and wife, Barbara, of Buena Vista, and Michael Wilhelm and Karen Newcomb, of Victoria, Va.; nieces, Misty Garrett, Tiffany Wright, Elizabeth Canales, and Kayla Wilhelm; nephews, Dustin Wilhelm, C.J. Wilhelm, Eric Wilhelm, and David Wilhelm; 11 great-nieces and nephews; two god parents, Leon and Sarah Wilhelm; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and two special friends, Patsy Wines and Gary St.Clair.

A memorial service was conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop Jarrod Huntsman officiating. Burial will be private.

The family received friends at the home of Shirley Wilhelm at 87 Hound Haven Lane, Lexington, Va.
