Mary Jane Dunlap Snyder, 86, of Lexington, Virginia, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at her home.

Born July 30, 1926, in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Milton Dunlap and Margaret Jean McCown Dunlap.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Vernon Snyder; three brothers, Halstead McClure Dunlap, Clarence Milton Dunlap Jr., and Walter McCown Dunlap.

Mrs. Snyder was a member of the Lexington Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her children, Philip D. Snyder; Margaret Snyder Watts; David V. Snyder; and one brother, Thomas Madison Dunlap.

A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Lexington Presbyterian Church with the Dr. William Klein officiating. Burial will be made at Stonewall Jackson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2013, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 1490 Pantops Mt. Place, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
