Patsy Sue Ruley Olive, 59, of Lexington, Virginia, died Thursday, February 14, 2013, at her home.

She was born November 28, 1953, the daughter of Nadine Ruley and the late Pat Ruley.

She was a retired computer specialist at Washington and Lee University and was a former aerobics instructor.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Jim Olive of Lexington; a daughter, Ana Olive of Lexington; two stepdaughters, Sarah Olive of Chapel Hill, N.C., and Joy Olive Lyons of Vancouver, Washington; two sisters, Sandra Garnett of Lexington and Kathy Ruley of Broadway; one brother, Gary Ruley of Lexington; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two stepdaughters, Carey Olive and Jennifer Olive; and by a brother, Ronald E. "Rooster" Ruley.

Family night will be held at Harrison's Funeral Home on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m. The Funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Ben Dowling at Lauderdale A.R. Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
