Robert Lee (Bobby) Moore, Jr., 58, of 218 East Spruce Street, Covington, Virginia, died Saturday, June 29, 2013, at his residence.

Mr. Moore was born April 26, 1955, in Alleghany County, a son of the late Robert Lee Moore, Sr. and Julia Jackson Moore.

He had retired as an auto body repairman from the former Covington Motor Company and Covington Ford, Inc.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy Higgins Moore of Covington; three daughters, Sabrina Moore and Michael Boggs of Covington; Heidi Altizer and her husband, Doug, of Covington; and Chanda Higgins of Covington; three granddaughters, Emma, Makenlee and Destiny; two brothers, Henry Moore and his wife, Tiffany, and Darrell Moore, all of Covington; three sisters, Terry Armentrout and her busband, Dennis, and Darlene Dulaney and her husband, Don, all of Covington; and Wendy Davis of Orofino, Idaho, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Shorty Wolfe officiating assisted by the Rev. Virgil Woody.

Interment was made in the Higgins Family Cemetery at Sharon.
