Virginia Stinnett Wright, 86, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away Monday, August 5, 2013, at home.

Born June 28, 1927, in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Elsie Beard Stinnett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Leo Wright; three children, Wayne Wright, Lee Wright and Danny Wright; two brothers, Billy Stinnett and Junior Stinnett; and a granddaughter, Wanda Wright.

Surviving are a daughter, Betty Jane Byers; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.

Special thanks to the staff of Rockbridge Area Hospice and Gelsie Wright for special care given during her illness.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 8, 2013, at Calvary Brethren Church with the Rev. Rick Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Buena Vista.
