Mrs. Elizabeth Vest (Libby) Jones, age 85, of Covington, Virginia, died Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at the Brian Center Nursing Care, Low Moor.

She was the wife of the late Earl Vaughn "Casey" Jones.

Mrs. Jones was born July 2, 1928 in the Longdale Furnace section of Alleghany County, the daughter of the late Charles Edward Vest and Margaret Bell Nicely Vest.

She was a member of Mallow Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Jones is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and special friends, Freida and Larry Mann.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Vest and Oscar Vest and four sisters, Mary Vest Nicely, Elsie Vest Taylor, Evelyn Vest Booth and an infant sister, Marie Vest.

A funeral service was conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 5, 2013, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Marshall officiating. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park.

Pallbearers were Larry Mann, Allen Mann, Wayne Crawford, Lonnie Rider, Richard Shull, George Persinger, and Frank Persinger.

The family received friends on Saturday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. until time of service at Loving Funeral Home.
