Richard (Red) Phillip Booze, 56, of Williamsville, Virginia, formerly of Fincastle, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Easel Sink Booze.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sherri and Greg Creasy of Salem; grandchildren, Lance and Landon Hollins; father, Phillip Henry Booze; sisters, Brenda Booze Fennell of Boynton Beach, Florida, Phyllis Booze of Fincastle, Sherry Booze Nueesch and husband, Fritz of Switzerland, Mary Booze Leonard and husband, Todd of Blue Ridge; and brother, William Henry Booze and wife, Debbie of Fincastle; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 17, 2014 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home.
