Kenneth W. Decker, 68, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away June 12, 2014.

Mr. Decker was preceded in death by his infant twin daughters and his parents Herman C. Decker and Elizabeth R. Decker.

Surviving is his wife of 45 years, Wanda Coleman Decker; daughter, Whitney L. Roberts and husband, Greg Roberts; two sons, Kelly W. Decker and Michael C. Decker and fiance, Denise Mason; granddaughters, Mackenzie E. Decker, and Tori L. Roberts; brother, Herman R. Decker; two sisters, Barbara Phillips and husband, Robert, Norvelle McClure and husband, Vane; special mother-in-law, Judy S. Coleman; devoted cats, Ellie Mae, Sammy, and a dog, Dixie; brothers-in law, Ricky Coleman and wife, Ruth, Timmy Coleman and wife, Cindy; numerous nephews and nieces, special friends and co-workers.

Mr. Decker was a United States Army veteran serving two years in Vietnam as a hospital chef.

He was employed by Aramark over 28 years.

He will be missed by many, and was a special caring person, loved by everyone.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. at First Brethren Church on Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Interment will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Monday June 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at First Brethren Church. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the P.M.H.S. Basketball Team or the Youth Ministry of First Brethren Church.
