Obituary for Aaron Theodore Marshall Aaron Theodore Marshall
Former Hercules Foreman Also Worked With The Homestead

Aaron Theodore Marshall, age 76, of 7713 Mill Branch Road, Covington, Virginia, died Monday, July 28, 2014 at his residence.

Mr. Marshall was born April 7, 1938 in Alleghany County, Virginia, to the late Roy Theodore and Bessie Pearl Wilson Marshall.

He retired as foreman from Hercules, Inc. and had also been employed in the maintenance department at The Homestead Resort.

He served in the United States National Guard and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

He loved playing and watching golf.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Miller Seldomridge Marshall of Covington; three step children, Patty S. Nicely and husband, Kevin of Covington, Pam S. Wise and husband, Ed of Forest, and Mike Seldomridge and wife, Linda of Covington; four step grandchildren, Brittany Elmore, Ryan Nicely, Lucas Wise and Lauren Wise; two step great grandchildren, Mazi Elmore and Meirco Elmore; and a number of cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Faith Baptist Church, Covington, with Pastor Billy Price officiating.

Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Covington.

Active pallbearers will be Bill Kelly, Jim Doyle, Harry Newman, Ron Seabolt, Corky Downer, Lewis Weeks, Murray All and Robert Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Norman Bess, Buck Barnett and Dr. David Crandall.

The family will receive friends on Friday, two hours prior to the service at Faith Baptist Church and other times at the residence of Patty and Kevin Nicely, 204 Clearwater Drive, Covington.

The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Faith Baptist Church Building Fund, 311 Jackson Drive, Covington, VA 24426.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, is in charge of the arrangements.
