Obituary for Inez Redman Craft Inez Redman Craft
Rich Patch Native Was Halmode Presser, Cliffdale Christian Church Member

Inez Redman Craft, 95, of 4109 Upper Rich Patch Road, Covington, Virginia, will be celebrating her next birthday in heaven with her husband and family.

She passed away August 28, 2014 at The Brian Center in Low Moor.

She was born September 4, 1918, in Rich Patch, a daughter of the late Henry and Ida Wolfe Redman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Percy J. Craft in 1988; a son, Revis "Buck" Craft; two sons-in-law, Walter Humphries and Tony Ross; a sister, Goldie Byer; three brothers, Merlin Redman, Samuel Redman, and Curtis Redman.

Mrs. Craft was formerly employed by Halmode, Inc. as a Presser Inspector and was a member of Cliffdale Christian Church.

She loved gardening flowers, animals (especially cats), feeding and spending time with her grandchildren, as well as going out to dinner.

Survivors include five daughters, Nadine Humphries, Doris and Carroll Smith, Judith Persinger and James Bowling, all of Covington, Margaret Ross of Chantilly, VA, and Virginia and Dennis Jackson of Wellington, OH; one son, Harold and Donna Craft of Covington; 14 grandchildren, Travis Craft, Holly Craft, Garland Lynn Humphries, Christopher Persinger, Judd Smith, Jeff Smith, Robin Vokus, David Ross, Donna Ross, Tina Morgan, Lance Craft, Josh Craft, Dale Jackson, and Cheryl Jackson; 19 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lettie Tucker and Shirley Hubbard, both of Covington; a brother, Connie Redman of Clifton Forge; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as her beloved cat, Buddy.

The funeral service was held Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 3:00 PM in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J.B. Broughman officiating.

The family received friends from 1:30 p.m. until service time on Sunday.

Interment was made in Lone Star Cemetery.

Mrs. Craft's grandsons served as pallbearers.
