Bertie Virginia Hall, 71, of Lexington, Virginia, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014 at her home.

Born December 30, 1942 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Roy Freeman Hall and Bessie Staton Hall.

Surviving are her special companion, Betty Jean Davis; two sisters, Clara Higgins; Lonie Hostetter and husband, Steve; special sister-in-law, Nancy Hall; beloved dog, Lola; numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was conducted 11 a.m. Monday, September 8, 2014 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Warden officiating. Burial followed at Alone Mill Cemetery.

The family received friends 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Va., 540-463-2912.
