Obituary for Deborah Ann Persinger McDavid Deborah Ann Persinger McDavid
Kmart Integrity Specialist Was Lone Star Advent Christian Church Member

Deborah Ann Persinger McDavid, age 57, of 3612 Longdale Furnace Road, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at her residence.

She was born February 23, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Conley and Mary Sue Dotson Persinger.

Deborah was an Integrity Specialist for KMart, and a member of Lone Star Advent Christian Church.

She was an avid collector of salt and pepper shakers and snowmen, and liked camping, fishing, being outdoors, visiting the ocean, sewing, knitting, and quilting.

She especially enjoyed being with her daughters and granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Persinger Lewis, and a brother, Herb Owen Persinger.

She is survived by her husband, Jamie McDavid of Clifton Forge; two daughters, Jamie Lee Dolly and husband, Kris of White Sulphur Springs, WV and Serena Grey McDavid and boyfriend, Coty White of Shawsville; a granddaughter and the light of her life, Kaylynne Talia McDavid; a sister-in-law, Margie Persinger of Clifton Forge; a brother-in-law, Virgil Lewis of Covington; special friend, Cathy Hayslett and husband, Roger, of Clifton Forge; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Doug Moore officiating.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at Nicely Funeral Home and other times at the home of Cathy and Roger Hayslett, 404 Wintergreen Ave, Iron Gate Hill, Clifton Forge, VA.

The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Mountain Regional Hospice Volunteers, P. O. Box 637, Clifton Forge, VA 24422.
