Hershey Chocolate Employee Was Covington Resident

Robert Watkins Armentrout, 58, of 137 Union Church Road, Covington, Virginia, died Friday, October 17, 2014 at Augusta Medical Center in Fishersville.

He was born April 9, 1956, in Chicago, IL, a son of the Patricia Campbell Armentrout of Staunton and the late Bobby W. Armentrout.

Robert was an employee at the Hershey Chocolate Factory in Stuarts Draft.

He was avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, was a fan of the Chicago White Sox and enjoyed going to games. He also enjoyed gardening in his spare time.

Surviving in addition to his mother, are two brothers, David W. Armentrout and his wife, Ann, of Staunton and Paul Armentrout and his wife, Jackie, of Sycamore, Ill., two aunts, Velda Farmer of Stuarts Draft and Lula Brown of Covington; two uncles, Berlin Campbell of Molena, GA and Garland Campbell of Covington; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday October 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Covington with the Rev. Dan Wine officiating.

The family will gather prior to the service at the Arritt Funeral Home in Covington.
