Obituary for John Lawrence Rodenizer John Lawrence Rodenizer
Self-Employed Dry Wall Contractor Was Covington Resident

John Lawrence Rodenizer, 66, 413 W. Prospect Street, Covington, Virginia, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at his residence.

He was born December 30, 1947 in Covington, a son of the late Charles J. and Myrtle Lytle Rodenizer.

Lawrence was a self-employed dry wall contractor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters.

Surviving are a son, Curtis W. Rodenizer and his wife, Chris of Maryland; one grandson, Aaron Rodenizer of Maryland; one brother, Wayne Rodenizer and his wife, Gwen of Hot Springs; a brother-in law and care taker, Emmett Simmons of Covington; several nieces and nephews, including Carl and Teresa Simmons of Covington, and Kathy and Shane Mentz, Teresa K. and Billy Gibson, all of Covington, and Randy and Kim Simmons of Vinton; one great nephew, Harry Lee Simmons of Covington.

His body has been cremated.

The Arritt Funeral Home, Covington, Virginia, handled the arrangements.
