Shannon Dare Mays Campbell, 41, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2014.

Born in Lynchburg, on August 28, 1973, she was the daughter of Donna C. Mays and the late William Everett Mays.

She is preceded in death by former husband, Donald Campbell.

Surviving her are a daughter, Brooklyn Campbell; sister, Angie Gregory and husband, John; a brother, Billy Mays and Lisa Grishaw; two nieces, Jessi Mays and Tori Gregory; special friends, Marcie and Cory Carte; numerous other friends; and her two canine companions, Lilly and Stitch.

A memorial service was held at 6 p.m. on Monday, December 8, 2014 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home.
