Obituary for Wanda June Adkins Straub Wanda June Adkins Straub
West Virginia Native Was Lexington Resident

Wanda June Adkins Straub, 90, of Lexington, Virginia, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Lewis Gale Hospital in Salem, Va.

Born January 28, 1925 in West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Everett Adkins, Sr. and Elma Guthrie Adkins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Carlyle Straub.

Mrs. Straub was a member of Bible Church at Rockbridge.

Surviving are her children, Pamela Straub Warden and husband, George, E. Wayne Straub and wife, Jill, all of Lexington, Va.; Gary K. Straub and wife, Jennifer, of Cloverdale, Va.; three siblings, Betty Burns, of Dunbar, W.Va., Patty Adkins, of South Charleston, W.Va., Raymond E. Adkins, of Cool Ridge, W.Va.; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Bible Church at Rockbridge with the Rev. George Warden officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in loving memory of Wanda to the Bible Church at Rockbridge, 3 W. Whistle Creek, Lexington, VA 24450.
