Retired Florist And Bookkeeper Was Missouri Native

Ronald Layton (Buck) Entsminger, age 57, of 1710 Main Street, Clifton Woods, Clifton Forge, Virginia, and formerly of San Diego, California, died Sunday, February 15, 2015 at his residence.

He was born October 5, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri, the beloved son of Cardinal R. and Dorothy A. Entsminger.

He was a retired florist and bookkeeper.

He loved music and playing the piano, but more than anything loved being outside, near the ocean and working in his garden.

A lifelong bachelor, Buck is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Cardinal and Tammy Entsminger of Clifton Forge; three sisters, Dorothy Jean Priest, Peggy Recsnik and husband, Frank, and Betty Lou Hardy; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Having lived in San Diego until his retirement, he also leaves many friends there. He will be sadly missed.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Dennis Nicely officiating.
