Mrs. Mary Virginia Fairburn Siple, age 83, of Covington, Virginia, died Saturday, March 21, 2015, at LewisGale Hospital-Alleghany, Low Moor.

She was the wife of the late Olin Paul Siple.

Mrs. Siple was born January 6, 1932 in Botetourt County, the daughter of the late Jacob and Margaret Wood Fairburn.

She retired from the Craft Shops of Covington.

Mrs. Siple is survived by three sons, Fred E. Pifer and wife, Sherrie, Thomas A. Pifer and wife, Anna, and Mark A. Pifer and fiancee, Missy Spinks, all of Covington; a stepdaughter, Beverly Ellis and husband, Jim of Stuarts Draft; a step daughter-in-law, Brenda H. Siple of Clifton Forge; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; one step great granddaughter; four brothers, Ronald Fairburn, Richard Fairburn, Gary Fairburn and Ted Fairburn; one sister, Margie Hodges; and a number of nieces and nephews including a special niece, Kim Potter of Newport News.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Siple was preceded in death by a stepson, William Claude Siple.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at Loving Funeral Home.
