Obituary for Pearl Mae Goodbar Pearl Mae Goodbar
Lauderdale A. R. P. Church Member Dies At Age 92

Pearl Mae Goodbar, 92, of Lexington, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Golden Living Nursing Home in Buena Vista, Va.

She was born on May 13, 1922, the daughter of the late Charles Thomas Smith and Mary Virginia Hostetter Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Crawford E. Goodbar Sr. Mrs. Goodbar was a lifetime member of the Lauderdale A.R.P. Church.

She is survived by one son, Crawford E. Goodbar Jr.; a daughter, Phyllis Miller and son-in-law Alan Miller; grandchildren, Christine Yost of Helena, Ala., and Amanda Entsminger of Rockbridge Baths, Va.; and three great-grandsons, Tucker Entsminger, Conrad Yost and Aaron Yost.

Burial was held at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Lauderdale ARP Church with the Rev. Benjamin W. Dowling III officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers Street, Lexington, VA 24450.
