Paul Doskow Nicely, age 61, of 21736 Perkinson Road, Jetersville, Virginia, and formerly of Clifton Forge, died Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Bon Secours Saint Francis Medical Center in Midlothian Va.

Paul was born September 5, 1953 in Clifton Forge, Virginia, to the late James Leroy Nicely, Sr. and Virginia Deisher Nicely.

He was a member of the Sharon Baptist Church.

His hobbies included hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Mary Lucy Cooke and a brother James "Butch" Nicely.

He is survived by three sisters, Janice N. Taylor and husband, Robert of Jetersville, Jane N. Brackenridge and husband, Monte of Clifton Forge, Sandy Wheeler and husband, Ronnie of Chesterfield; a brother, Benny Joe Nicely and wife, Evelyn of Chesterfield; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will. be held on Tuesday June 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home with the Reverend Grover Nicely officiating. Interment will follow in the Central Advent Christian Cemetery, Clifton Forge Va.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Cooke, Monte Brackenridge, Ronnie Wheeler, Robbie Taylor, Dennis Fury, Ted Wilhelm, Glen Mays and Mikey Nicely.

The family will receive friends at Nicely Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon from 12:30 p.m. until time of the service.
