Robert Mason Clark, 69, of Glasgow, Virginia, died Saturday, July 25, 2015, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Born January 26, 1946, in Lexington, he was a son of the late Alfred Curtis Clark and Annie Scott Clark.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Faye Lynn.Robert was an avid fan of both the UVA Cavaliers and the Miami Dolphins.

Surviving are his wife, Peggy Wright Clark; sons, Scott Nelson Clark, of Glasgow and Travis Ryan Clark, of Buena Vista; grandchildren, Tristen Bre Clark, Jaydon Ryan Clark, both of Buena Vista; sister, Nancy Conklin and husband, John, of Owego N.Y.; nephews, Doug and David Lynn, both of Dickson Tenn., Michael Fitzgerald, of Buena Vista; niece, Jennifer Conklin, of Lee Fla.; great-niece, Rachel; stepmother, Virginia Clark; and faithful companion, Breezer.

A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of Robert to a charity of your choice.
