Charles David Landes, 77, of Glasgow, Virginia, died August 20, 2015, at his home.

Born July 23, 1938, in Augusta County, he was a son of the late Joseph Marion and Virginia Lotts Landes.

Mr. Landes was a member of the Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship Church.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Nancy Blackburn Landes; two daughters, Debra Landes Walker and husband, Robert Randolph Walker Jr., and Deneen Landes Davis and husband, Lowell A. "Joe" Davis; five grandsons, Robert Randolph Walker III, Charles "Christopher" Walker, Joshua Daniel Mohler, Thomas "Keith" Mohler, and Matthew David Mohler; five great-grandchildren, Robert Randolph Walker IV, Raylan James Walker, Riley Elizabeth Walker, Alexa Danielle Mohler, and Eli Keith Mohler.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015, at The Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship Church with the Pastor Wes Galford officiating. Burial will follow at Glasgow Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2015, at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers Street, Lexington, VA 24450; or the Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship Church, 21 Gilmores Mill Road, Natural Bridge Station, VA 24579.
