Former H. O. Canfield Employee Dies At Age 80
Linwood Melton Sorrell, age 80, of 127 Crossing Lane, Low Moor, Virginia, died Wednesday,
September 2, 2015 at his residence.
He was born March 26, 1935 in Clifton Forge
to the late Herman Melton Sorrell and Willie Mae Newcomb Sorrell.
He was a
laborer for the former H. O. Canfield.
In addition to his parents, he was
preceded in death by three brothers, William Herman Sorrell, Charles Sorrell,
and James Sorrell; and a sister, Helen Riley.
He is survived by a daughter,
Nancy Sorrell; two sons, George Henry Sorrell and Linwood Reynolds; and a
sister, Mary Tinsley and husband, Roger of Low Moor.
A funeral service will be
held on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral
Home, Clifton Forge. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton
Forge.
