Obituary for Larry Lewis Sprouse Larry Lewis Sprouse
Retired Arcadia Operator Was Walton Memorial United Methodist Church Member

Larry Lewis Sprouse, age 74 of 3416 Douthat Road, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Friday, October 2, 2015 at LewisGale Hospital - Alleghany in Low Moor.

He was born December 19, 1940 in Alleghany County to the late Raleigh Holland Sprouse and Irene Elva Herron Sprouse Persinger.

He was a retired operator at the former Arcadia Polymers in Iron Gate.

He was a member of the Walton Memorial United Methodist Church and the International Machinist Union, and was a faithful fan of the Green Bay Packers.

He also loved hunting and watching the evening news.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Gene O. Sprouse.

Larry is survived by his wife, Linda Brooks Sprouse of Clifton Forge; three daughters, Anita Sprouse Tingler and husband, James of Clifton Forge, Lorene Deaton Morgan and husband, Doc of Aberdeen, MS, and Ramona Sprouse Tucker and husband, Mitchell of Clifton Forge; three sisters, Selda King of Greenville, VA, Pat Murrell of Pasadena, FL, and Susan Harold of Wilson, NC; four grandchildren, Natasha Howard and husband, Jay, Nicholas Tucker, Ryland Tucker, and Stephanie Tingler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with the Reverend Virgil Woodie officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday morning until the time of the service at Nicely Funeral Home.
