Dawn E. Campbell Kelly, age 52 of 406 Fairdale Drive, Thaxton, Virginia, died Friday, January 29, 2016 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke.

She was born August 4, 1963 in Covington to Dolly E. Nicely Campbell and the late Edward C. Campbell.

She was a loving person who put taking care of friends and family around her above herself.

She is survived by her mother, Dolly Campbell of Low Moor; her sons, Joshua E. Kelly and Nathaniel H. Kelly, of Blue Ridge; a grandson, River H. Kelly; her life partner, Guy Nathan Trent, as well as his children, Brian N. Trent and wife, Leigh Ann and Jennifer B. Trent and boyfriend, Caleb, all of Thaxton; two sisters, Teresa Stansbury and husband, Gary of Roanoke Rapids, NC. and Carrie Gunter and husband, Jeff of Low Moor; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Pastor Ronnie Saville officiating.

A private interment will follow in Central Advent Christian Cemetery, Clifton Forge. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, Virginia.
