Angela Denise Crutchfield Dressler, 43, of 405 E. Detroit Street, Covington, Virginia, died Sunday, April 24, 2016 at her residence.

She was born March 9, 1973 in Harrisonburg, a daughter of Kathryn Lockhart Crutchfield of Covington and the late Barry Crutchfield.

In addition to her father, Angela was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ruel Crutchfield and also by her maternal grandparents, Norris G. and Nadine W. Lockhart.

Angela was a CNA at the Golden Living Center in Clifton Forge.

She was a member of Clifton Forge Baptist Church. She was a member of the McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church Adult Handbell Choir and the Adult Senior Choir.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brother, Christopher Scot Crutchfield and his wife, Jessica Wearing Crutchfield of Covington, GA; her paternal grandmother, Dreama Whitmer Crutchfield of Clifton Forge; nieces and nephews, Adler L. Crutchfield; Aidan G. Crutchfield; Ruel L. Crutchfield and Lila J. Crutchfield all of Covington, GA.

The memorial service will be held Thursday April 28, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Michael C. Fleenor officiating.

Following the service the family will receive friends at the church at other times at the residence of JoAnn Andrews, 452 E. Fairlawn Drive, Covington, VA 24426.
