Johnda Marie Leblant-Wilson, age 67, of 597 Verge Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia, and formerly of New Orleans, Louisiana and Connecticut, died Monday, April 25, 2016 at her residence.

She was born March 9, 1949 in New Orleans to Joseph and Zevenar Bouise Leblant.

She was a homemaker throughout her life, and a promoter of music.

She worked for the New Orleans Jazz Heritage Festival for many years and belonged to several Mardi Gras clubs.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Ardethe. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Ashley Wilson of Clifton Forge; her companion, Richard Lloyd Mack, Sr. of Clifton Forge; a sister, Zevie Davis of New Orleans; two brothers, Kevin Flowers of New Orleans and Wilbert Flowers of California; and a grandchild, Daeshawn N. Wilson of Connecticut.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. There will be no services held at this time.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, is handling arrangements.
